How to use Maxon Liftgate?

While specific operations vary slightly depending on whether you have a Tuk-A-Way, Railift, or Columnlift, the basic principles remain the same. Here is a quick breakdown to ensure safe operation:

• Clear the Area: Before deploying the gate, make sure you, your bystanders, and the ground area are completely clear of obstacles.
• Deploy the Gate: Release any safety latches. Using your toggle switch, lower the platform until it meets the indicator marks, then unfold the platform manually or hydraulically, depending on your model.
• Position the Load Safely: Always place your cargo as close to the inboard edge (the side closest to the truck) as possible. Never exceed your liftgate’s specified weight capacity, and ensure the load is stable.
