Maxon RC model wire cables - WTF and which one?
Why the F*** are there so many options for Maxon cables on the RC series?
The RC model has about 16 options for the steel cables found in the rails (beams, columns, large metal shafts) because each model capacity has a specific cable dependent on the model's capacity, width (96" or 102" wide), and side that it's found on.
Because of this, we've created a breakdown of the options in hopes that we can help you identify which part number you need.
First and foremost, if you have the rail apart and the cable in hand, you may be in luck! Many cables now have the part number imprinted directly on the cable. If that's the case, this should be the only check you need.
